ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Department of Biological Sciences and the Uganda Society @100 years are glad to announce and extend a warm invitation to you to join its 14th edition of The Science, Technology and Innovation Conference on “SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, INNOVATION AND RESEARCH FOR SOCIAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT” which will be held in both physical and virtual format during November 1-2, 2023.
The conference will focus on innovations in Science, Technology, Research and will once again unite researchers, scientists, bio-technologists, academicians, professionals, industry key players, policymakers and delegates from a wide range of disciplines to deliberate on the latest findings and trends across the science and technology innovations providing a forum for the exchange of knowledge and forging of new ideas.
The diversity of issues that will be covered at this consortium reflects the fact that science, innovation and research are integral to many aspects of the daily life and have the potential to address local and global challenges that we all confront. We try to adapt innovation in industrial biotechnology and bioscience to enable the bio-manufacturing of chemicals and functional products in a more sustainable method as the world faces crucial problems in establishing a more sustainable bio-economy.
