The department is now offering graduate training leading to PhD degree in biology and a highly focused Master of Science degree in Conservation and Management of Natural Resources. We are also developing a number of new programmes and courses which we are confident will be received with enthusiasm by the biological sciences fraternity and stakeholders. Look out for them from this website.
As a department we encourage student led and peer to peer activities through which critical life skills are developed and experiences shared. Graduates of the department are pursuing careers in academic institutions, research institutes, Government agencies, health facilities, industry and public education.
We welcome and encourage partnerships and links with industry, business, cultural, intercultural and social institutions in order to enhance the opportunities for our students to develop the skills necessary to flourish in life. Individuals and institutions wishing to collaborate with the department of biological sciences can contact us directly on firstname.lastname@example.org.
I encourage you to visit the website for updates on department issues; and potential students to survey and use this website.
