Bachelor of Science Technology (Biology)

Overview:

The programme trains all round graduates who are well equipped to cope with the rapidly changing scientific demands and trends in the Biological and Medical fields. The proposed training will also give the students opportunities for further studies in their careers as science technologists, researchers and managers at postgraduate levels. Thus this field based knowledge, Research, partnership, collaboration, planning and management will enable them cope with emerging local, regional and global needs.

Program Duration: Three years

Programme Structure:

The programme is arranged in a way that, the introductory aspects that are central to science Technology are covered in the first three semesters.  The courses in the last three semesters are highly specialised and of applied nature in the field. A BST/B student will be required to undertake a twelve weeks industrial training at the end of first year and second year.

By the end the Doctor of Philosophy in Musical Arts of Kyambogo University, you will be able to:

• Conduct research on pertinent issues in the performing arts sector in Uganda and beyond;
• Formulate policies to enhance the development and promotion of the performing arts industry in Uganda.
• Demonstrate professional and practical competences that the emerging practice in the performing arts require;
• Apply research-based solutions to the problems in the performing arts industry in Uganda and beyond.
